Default spring rubbing against sleeve = squeaks

can somebody help me with this problem. my rear, right spring likes the move around and rub around against my sleeves, resulting in squeaking noises. it's getting really bad and i need the spring to sit flush on the perch. any suggestions? thanks. (i have GCs)

well first do you have keeper springs, They are little soft springs that sit on top of the spring to keep load on it so it doesnt move around.

Also can try using electrical tape around the sleeve, What I do but its only really a temporary fix.

no.. i don't have keeper springs. they sound like a good idea though. earlier, i jacked up the rear, repositioned my spring, and just sprayed lube everywhere. it's not squeaking anymore and i hope it stops. if not, i think i'm gonna buy a set of keeper springs. do you know where i can get them?

Here in NZ most suspension shops can get them in for you, You are also required to have them to keep your suspension all legal. Dont know the laws over there tho.
