Default new 3" collector header question

is there anyone out there running a 3" collector header for a all motor h22 in a 4th gen prekude? i'm planning on making a 3" custom exhaust and would like the header to match. the piping will be mandrel bent and i'm still deciding if i should put a cat convertor on it or not. i've contacted smsp and it was about $1300 but to me, the design looks kinda like a 2 piece greddy header but larger. the nomis industries headers looks promising but i'm not sure how to get a reach of them since there pretty new. it's been a while since i got my build done and i haven't upgrade my exhaust system yet because i'm not sure which way to go or which header to get. any advice would help. thanks.

Honestly, when it comes to a header, you almost always get what you pay for. Go cheap and don't expect much (or even lose power). Spend the money and get the big gains. I know another header may look like an SMSP, but I guarantee it won't perform like one. Especially if you're looking at something like a 3" collector, talk to the people that know what they're doing (like SMSP) and they can tell if you that's a good idea or not and then actually machine it correctly for you if that's how you go.
