wheel shaking and creaking when turning 4th gen. help please
4th gen prelude. Steering wheel just started shaking a bit back and forth when i drive and yesterday it started to creak when i would turn the wheel while stopped or going slow. I haven't gotten a great chance to take a loot at it but it looks liek the boot on my tie rod is ripped.
Any ideas on what could be happening?

Sounds like you have front end play worn balljoint(s) or Tierod end(s).
To find the source of the noise have a friend move the steering wheel back and forth while you take a rubber hose and put one end to your ear and point the other end of the hose one by one at the ball joints and tierod ends till you find the noise.
Keep in mind there are inner tie rod ends inside the boots on your steering rack.
