i got my valves adjusted today.
like the topic says, i had it done at a honda dealer. i was told that the engine should be quieter and not hear the clicking sounds anymore. But, after i got the car back, the engine did sound "quieter" but not "new engine" quiet. is this normal or did the mechanic "mickey mouse" it? should i just buy a feeler and check it myself to be sure?
heres what u do....get a bolt and throw id into ur heaad, where u pour the oil into ur car. Than u start ur car. Most likely ur head will be destroyed. Than you take it back to Honda and they give u a brand new motor.
Im still waiting to get enough ***** to do it myself.
I bought a feeler gauge set, and have learned what to do.. but I have yet to apply what I have learned...

They did it dont worry about it. If its was new it should sound new, if its got a valve adjustment, is should sound used with a valve adjustment.
It only takes about 15 min. to do the job and it pays more than that. That means the technician would be happy to do it, its easy money.
Sevensix: You should take off your vavlecover just to start, you can see the cam and how it works without damaging anything. It will give you more confidence if you're acquianted with it. You dont have to touch anything until you're comfortable but you've got to start somewhere right. Just go have a look, *****.
