Default stumped, where is this leak coming from??? *pics*

oil leak all over control arm and axle shaft, losing about 1 quart per 3k miles, images taken from left side, something tells me its more than just the oil pan gasket (and timing belt is free of oil deposits)

thanks for the quick reply, is that hard to replace the oil pump seal and just to make sure its #17 below? also would the crankshaft oil seal be causing this?

If you can't see anything running down from the top of the block where the valve cover or cam seal are then I would just replace the oil pan gasket for now. Pick one up from the dealer and make sure you clean the area up before you install it to get all that crap off of everything. Make sure you follow the manual's procedures for reinstalling the oil pan. With some luck that will be the problem.

dooooooood!!! listen.. or read lol....... start by looking around the valve cover.... then remove the timing covers and check the seals.... you can have leaking seals and it not contaminate the belt..... start with the top most leak..... due to gravity it falls down and you wont have a clue what is leaking until you fix it first.....

no i didnt replace that. it doesnt look like thats where is coming from cuz if it was then the oil would be leaking on the ground. not the shaft. unless it can spray out in a stream from the pressure??? i dunno.

clean the engine bay take a piece of cardboard and put it underneath the car. Start it up and let it run. Look i would look at the oil pan and the back of the block. Sorry man that suck. I wish you lived close I would talk a look at it for you. Good luck

Like stated above, start by cleaning/degreasing anything that has oil on it, or your entire engine if you prefer..

Let the car idle, and take a peek every few mins.. see where the leak is developing..
I had a similar problem. Oil was leaking all over the place, got on the control arm, intermediate shaft, etc..
Found out it was the oil pressure sensor leaking oil..
