Default modified emission ticket (27156 b vc)

i got a ticket for modified emission here in cali and the ticket also has that little sticker at the back where it saids i have to take it to a state referee and couldnt drive it until i get it inspected and pass. the car is boosted and it would really suck if i have to convert it back to N/A since it is time consuming (im busy with work and school) and i think the car wouldnt even pass smog without the turbo. this is also my dd driver and i really need it back on the road. so my question is-

is there any way to get around this? or is there anyway that i dont have to take it to the state ref? i dont have a problem paying the fine but i just want to avoid taking it to the state ref since i know its going to fail and i dont have time to convert it back to N/A and even if i do convert it it will fail anyways. please help me guys..

Well as Cali is the leading green state, you should go by there rules and convert your car back the way it should be. Brad Pitt and Matt Damon would be pissed if they knew you were polluting there great state. Do your part Ellen and Opra will love you.

So, you illegally modified the car, and want to know how to get out of the trouble your modifications got you into?

Convert it to back to 100% stock and get it passed. This is needed to clear the current "ticket". You won't even be able to renew the registration on the car if you don't. Then, convert the car to CNG while putting the turbo (and all other mods) back on and get the car cleared through the ref as an alternative fuel vehicle (smog exempt for life). You can have any engine mods in place with the CNG conversion, to take advantage of the octane CNG offers.

The only other way to get this cleared is to find a state ref willing to risk both his license and jail time to illegally pass your illegal car.

u can just pay the fine which is $350+ and not go to the ref. or u can go to the ref and pass and still pay the fine so its up to u

i heard rumors that if u get caught again for modified emissions that the fine is double the first amount but im not 100% sure on that...

im still dealing with my mod emissions ticket from 5 months ago
