Default H22 Questions

Ok im still new on the whole import car scene. Everyone has been telling me about the H22 engine for my 93 Lude.
What is the big deal with this engine. How do i know what types of engine will fit in my car?

not really a big deal....its just one of the more powerful/economical engine to put in the car with minimal effort/fabrication.

the h22 is rated 190hp for the US motor, and 200 for the japanese market engine, both are rated at 150ish tq. It fits right in. There are some better motors that are either way more exspensive and/or more labor intensive to swap in.

All really depends on what u wanna do for the Lude.

Check out Hmotorsonline.com, go into the motor mall, JDM-USDM engines and look at the H22a, F20b, and the H23.
