Default Tranny makes whinning sound??

A guy took it apart that is real good with trannys and said everythinh was perfect except I think he said the snap ring and or bearing was messed so he replaced along with a new throw out bearing

The traNny shifts fine now except for a whinning sound between the 1-2 shift and the 2-3 shift it does it at a certain rpm like between 5k and 7k I think and I noticed later that day on the way home it sounded like something was binding in the tranny. The car started to vibrate really badly, but it made it home.

He said the gears and snycros looked brand new when he took it apart. So what could cause this? Its a ys1 cable tranny.

I would say take it back apart and check over the bearings.

Maybe you shouldnt be taking this apart with questions like this. Take it to someone with experience rebuilding honda trannies.
