ok guys i have a 98 civic lx automatic. everytime i drive the speedo will work and then drop to zero. sometimes it will work fine, sometimes it will just stay at zero the whole time i drive.

basically it jumps up and down. im not sure if its the speed sensor or not. thats what im guessing. ive unpluded it tried to make sure everything was tight and i took the sensor out and looked at it. everything seemed fine. just not sure if its a bad sensor, something electronic, or something else.i just dont want to buy a new speed sensor and have that not fix the problem. let me know what u guys think.
