Default DOHC ZC: Temp Sensor Question.

hmm. for the most part i can use d-series parts to replace little things on my dohc zc.
as a result of research through h.t and various websites that list what part is compatible on a dohc zc but i didnt find anything about what temp sensor i can use.

my temp gauge reads all the way hot and im pretty sure my motor doesnt over heat.
i just replaced my thermostat with a brand new one and its still reading hot.

so i figured its a bad temp sensor, ive read that most dohc zc swaps have these problem.

now my question is what temp sensor can i use and off of what motor?
d-series? or b-series?

thanks in advance.

oh yeah, btw, if its not a temp sensor, could it be a bad cluster?

any possible problems?

temp sensor for the gauge - on the end of the head - has a 1-wire connector
temp sensor for the ECU - on the end of the head - has a 2-wire connector
temp sensor/cooling fan switch - on the back of the block next to oil filter - has a 2-wire connector with black rubber boot
