Default i changed the head, now battery is draining

ok i dont get it....the car was sitting for about a month and finally i changed my head. the car didnt start cuz there was no power so i went ahead and bought a new battery. the first start up was fine...it took a little strength, but it started. the second time it didnt want to start. after a few attempts it started, but i was struggling. what do you think is wrong????
on top of that my car is bogging and im getting a code 6. i messed with the plug a little and i reset the ecu and it still comes on. what the f*ck is going on?????TIA

did you put back the ground wire on the right side, near the timing belt area.
it should be connected to the front radiator support/light housing.

Even if the ground wasnt there its still important. Add it soon, the other ground for the battery is on the transmission to pasenger side body. Make sure both are good. It wouldn't hurt to check out the plug on the alternator just incase anything happened to it while you were working.
