are nsx calipers worth it??
my car needs new pads and rotors(00 si) and i was thinking about doing the nsx caliper upgrade. all i would need is redrilled legend rotors and nsx calipers right?? is the upgrade worth the money??
Upgraded calipers are only needed if your running large diameter wheels, or sticky r-compound tires. I have integra spindles on my vx civic and i can lock up fronts with UHP all season Kuhmo ASX tires. So if you always run summer tires or above in combination with 17" rims or larger. you might need an upgraded caliper. Im not sure very familiar with 99-00's, so i don't know if you have to upgrade your rotors to a larger size or not.
I own, like i said, a 95 civic vx (2090lbs) and i put 95 integra ls spindles(rotor and caliper assembly) on. (bye the way all 94-01 non type r integra brakes are the same.) Along with an upgraded master cylinder and im telling ya i can lock my tires up any time i feel like it. Thats just for your information and referance.

is it worth it... no it's not worth it. if you are going to track it then yea, but if not then no. the stock breaks on a SI are really good already.
