pretty much like last year, what we want to see for example classes and so forth, pretty much everything and anything on what we want for next year. if no one speaks then nothing can be done.
Are they discussing the forms of racing they offer also? I hate to say it, but I am more interested in the Time Attack racing in 2009.
Thanks, Marc
Thanks, Marc
who will be in attendance from CSCS? There's no way I'm going to drive to Toronto if there aren't going to be any decision makers there. I'm looking for some accountability for the 2008 season, and the mistakes that took place

Can't make it, but have a suggestion. Make street wars class, a 11.49 or slower class, instead of 12.5. Get to see a lot of fast TRUE street cars, and 11.49 or slower u don't need a cage.
We all know super street power adder is dominated by JP golf, 2JZ AE86, SR20DET 240SX, etc. Don't get me wrong, its entertaining as hell to watch them, but when you got a 9 second 240 lined up against a mid 11 second civic, you know its GAME OVER. LOL
BTW street wars class was the best idea in years.

I know this was my first year in the super street power adder class, and it was brutal to go against rear wheel drive cars going 9's. I almost want to say have a FWD power addder class but then the RWD guys wont really have a class to run in.
I just found it really weird when I went to OSCA races and competed in the 10.90 index and had more success there then racing in CSCS with my civic in the super street power adder class.

The problem i think is that if you have a F/I street car, the only real heads up classes we can run is Street Warz or SS/Power Adder. I ran Street Warz all year and was competitive all season long until the last event when I changed my setup a bit and was running a lot faster then 12.50.
Now I don't want to run S/W in 2009, the only option I have is to run SS/PA and try and compete with the high 9's low 10's cars with my mid 11 second car. I will be lucky to make it one round.
What I think CSCS should consider is a another index class so the Sportmans guys can make their way up the ladder so to speak. Consider a new 11.50 class so it's not such a big jump/gap between each class ex: 12.50 to 9.99 and that way street cars can compete and not have to worry about the cage rule and whatever rules apply when you go faster then 11.49.
