First SEARCH!!!

Second....I just did my swap and I had ALOT of stuff already...trans, mounts, manifolds etc. It still cost me around $1300 for a long block, new clutch and new gaskests/seals.

The information is ALL OVER H-T.

You can't even hit that red search button or click the FAQs and expect to swap a motor?

You've been spoon fed, you are welcome.

why are u sending me the same link as the the other guy. i have searched thru that faq but it dosent have anything relating to the b20 swap under the "B-series swap" it mainly talks about b16 or 18. Im a noob at this swap and not very familiar with crx so right now im desparately in need of help and would like for this crx to start running by end of this december or early jan.

b20 and b16 basically the same swap. like the guys on IA are saying.

need all the same stuff to mount a b20 versus a b16 or b18. Mounts, linkage etc.

Just did one on mine, and it ran about 500 for the motor, 170ish mounts, 130 hasport linkage, 130 rywire, 100 trans, 30 Teg clutch cable, 320 clutch/pressure plate, 20 dizzy and 90 for the back bracket from Acura and 300 traction bar. so depending out how clean and legit you want to get with it but i would definitely get the traction bar. if you are starting from nothing and dont have any connects with parts expect to pay around 1300 for a good reliable swap! All depends on what you have and how legit you are about it-

i jsut did the swap in my car i dont know off hand how much it costed, but i went a little far with it and got everything new, including axles, i picked up a 1990 integra parts car for 300$ for the parts i needed, then had the car sent to the metal recyclers for my money back

motor b20b -500$
transmission - parts car
rear T-braket engine mount - parts car
timing belt cover mount from a obd-0 b18a - parts car
yonaka swap mounts -b-series into EF, - used $100
shift linkage - parts car (modified cut and welded to work)
axles -70$ each new
obd-0 ecu - parts car
obd- 0 dizzy -parts car

i left my car obd-0, i had to run obd-1 injectors, because thats all i had laying around that matched up to an old harness i had, so i cut the plugs off and wired them into my harness that i would be using.. now since i was using obd-1 injectors, they run high impedance.. i had to delete the resistor box, since obd-0 runs low impedance.. so i did that i had to extend my reverse lights wires. my o2 sensor plug, my water temperature plug and add the plug on the end. my intake manifold. the place where the IAT belongs was casted over from factory.. so i had to drill into my intake pipe and plug the iat there. and i extended the wires to that plug

i know ive spent more than 2grand, with little odds and ends. but just cant remember everything

i wait for good deals to come around. i just got done with a swap for my cousins ef. LS motor (same components used for b20/b16 etc) we got lucky cause it was a low mileage integra for $450. after messing with the car and finding out it had bondo everywhere!! we parted it out. so we got the LS motor with tranny, axles, halfshaft, ecu, harness for mpfi, basically everything to swap. even rear disc brakes and what not. sold everything and got money back so swap was free to us.

-i get b20s for $450 delivered to my door local
-i bought mounts for 6 bucks Bseries to EF from the junkyard but normally could get them for $100 bucks (recently sold hasport mounts and linkage for $200 )
-shift linkage, you can do the ghetto cut and weld which works fine but you have to cut and weld at the right spot or it will have hella play in it when in gear. but new can range from $130-$150
-axles, eh autozone. $140 for 2 new lifetime warranty
-halfshaft and misc from the junkyard which doesnt cost too much.
-dpfi>mpfi i do myself, fairly easy now. (as 0bd0)
-tranny i got b16's from $250-350
-basic Exedy clutch kit for $225
-ecu 0bd0 would go real cheap on craigslist some sell for alot
-manifold, pick one out at the junkyard, wait for it on craigslist or just get a blox one since junkyard is $-100-$130
-dizzy

you get the idea. i could spend no more than $1000 on a swap. i just wait for good deals to come around and hop on it.

depends how fast you want it in. you can pay what ever the price others are asking and get it done or wait it off if your not in a rush to do the swap. get everything together then swap. so you do not have to run around finding parts and you car just sits.

thats what i did.

save yourself the trouble and get the cheapest decent b20 you can and shove some r.s machine pistons or YCP ones in it. wont be long before you want higher lift cams and it will benefit loads from the compression increase, also means you will have plenty of valve to piston clearance.

(on a side note -is it just me or was this weeks bleach episode crap?)
