Default what to do with radiator fluid line and intake hose?

Hi folks,

I am installing the K&N Typhoon intake on my 98 GS, I am not sure what to attach to the "nipple" on the new intake pipe and what to do with the rubber hoses they provided. There were a lot of hoses interconnected together and attached to the old rubber intake, K&N only provide two hoses and the instructions doesn't make sense to me. grrr, I am such a newbie.

I read somewhere that, I can just attach those interconnected hoses right into the "nipple", but I really like to follow what K&N recommended and used those two rubber hoses provided. Please help me or point me to the right resources... I need pictures, I am a visual learner, hehe. Thanks in advance.

on of the hoses replaces the coolant line, and another goes from the pipe to the pcv valve
