Hello. Came across a 1982 Honda wagon with a 5 speed and was wondering what their rated HP was. Seems like it would make a cool daily driver and swap patient, But im a fat *** and wondering how horrible this thing will be pulling a grade .

 

Quick Google search pulled up the following:

1300: 55bhp
1500: 67bhp

The cars themselves are light, so it will still probably do just fine pulling your fat *** up a hill.

 

The wagon came with the 1.5 litre cvcc which is rated at 67 bhp. I have an 83 hatch with the same engine and i have no trouble at all even with 2 or 3 people in the car.

 

awesome. its a pretty straight little car. wants 500 bucks for it and it has 160k on it.

 

Sweet you should pick it up! You can always add another 20hp by swapping in an 82 Accord engine, toss on a big Weber and a header, maybe get 90-95hp out of it. Should make it a fun little wagon! I've always wanted a wagon!
