i want to make a nice sub box for my EG hatch. im not sure how to make the box. can i make the bottom of the box outta fiberglass and have a board on top or should i do the top in fiberglass?

I tried finding a how to online but all i could find is boxes uses MDF and i dont want MDF. i want something that will be much cleaner than a flat piece of board. and im sure the fiberglass box will weigh much less than the MDF and look 10x better.

so can someone help me out with ideas?

 

Yes the "bottom" can be made of fiberglass with a "wood" top.

Look for some videos by fishman audio on the net. The guy is full of himself. But he can put you on the right path. I think that Asian guy that did some of the Alpine cars has some videos too.
