i was screwing around doing a burnout and i was bouncing off rev limiter in 1st gear and i went to shift gears and the gas was stuck wide open. then it stopped by itself. then when i was getting on it after that i would go to shift around 7200 to 7500 and it would do it again. any help?
the first thing you should check is the driver, Dont do that to your lude you will kill it.
check your throttle linkage cable on the tb. I messed with my idle screw and it stick alittle so my guess is the throttle is sticking some where.

take off ur intake arm and check to see if the throttle body is clean or if it has build-up around where the throttle plate would be.
Ur cable could be getting stuck, or the plate itself could be getting caught up by the build-up of oil/vapors recirculating from your valvecover vent that goes to the intake before the throttle body
