It's not usually a question of lowering. It's because many of the Axis wheels are designed with a "deep dish" and are too wide for the car, often with zero offset, so they stick out away from the car so far that they rub on the fenders. Also they are often too wide to use with the proper tire size for your car. On a '92-95 Civic, the best size tires and wheels are 185/60-14 tires on 14x5.5 or 14x6 wheels, 195/50-15 tires on 15x6 or 15x6.5 wheels, or 205/40-16 tires on 16x7 wheels.
yep they'll work just make sure you get the 25 offset.. you're going to make me so jealous... run 50's for 15's or 40's for 16's 195... good luck
