Default Turn Signal Problems, Rear work, front nothing

Everything is wired up (driving lights come on which means the bulbs are fine)

Only the rear turn signals flash (quicker than normal which I thought meant a bulb was out or something like that but it must be linked to the front ones not flashing)

I checked the fuses and since the front and rear turn signals pass through one fuse I would assume that isn't the problem.

The wiring job isn't the best, as I was looking to diagnose the problem first so I sort of patched it together, but it troubles me that the driving lights come on just fine.

There are three wires leading to the connector on each turn signal: Red, White, and Yellow

I am assuming the yellow wire is what controls the flashing function of the light, so is that what I should follow to look for problems?

Thanks

do the front corner lights turn on?

if so you know you are getting ground to the connection.

2. disconnect the plug at the light and put a test light to the yellow wire, if it flashes your getting signal. there are only 2 other things it can be the bulb or the socket where the bulb goes.

if your not getting signal to the yellow wire that means you have a break in that wire that you must trace in order to find!

Goodluck

No my civic has no corner lights, sorry I should have specified. Thanks for the advise on checking the yellow wire for signal...I'll try that and if that fails I'll trace the wire. Thanks.
