I have a 96' civic 4DR and have installed a viper 5900 alarm in it. everything works fine besides the fact that only the 2 front doors trigger the alarm when it is opened. but when i open the 2 rear doors, it doesn't trigger the alarm to go off. i have wired the door trigger wire to the "light green/red" wire in the driver side kick panel. but after doing some research, in order to make the 2 rear doors trigger also, is to wire up the same colored wire, but the thicker wire. but i can't find that wire anywhere. any inputs on how to wire my 2 rear doors??? thx in advance!
It is in a grey plug fastened down low behind the drivers kick panel. It looks to be a thicker gauge wire (14 gauge) and is green/red stripe. It can be tricky to get to, you can also find the dome light wire in the drivers side "A" pillar, it catches all 4 doors.

You can find the lead at the OEM alarm plug, green plug to the right of steering column, you will also find the trunk/hatch trigger there .

what if i the car didn't come with an oem alarm? i bought the car used, so i'm not sure. will the green plug be there regardless? or only for oem equipped alarms? and do you know the color wire for the trunk trigger? i've been looking but can only find the hood trigger wire
