What color smoke? I know I don't know everyting but here is what I've learned:
White smoke is usually burning oil
Black smoke is usually unburned fuel
Can't remember what blue ish smoke is
Just my opinion but the water part is normal.

probably just steam, water is a normal element from a gasoline engine, steam is just from cold weather.

white smoke is warter evaporating into steam....... ever trew warter on something hot?
blueish smoke 9 times out of 10 is burnign oil..... have you never used a weedeater? or ran any two stroke motor?

and if youve got a huge fart cannon on the *** end of your car its condensation think about it the bigger the entrance you have into your exhaust system the more warter vapor is allowed to intrued and there for causeing condesation and steam

water is nothing out of the norm. every car will have that. if its cold out, your car will seem like its "smoking" much like when you breath out you can see the water vapor from your breath.

also when its colder, your motor will run a little richer, so that could be where the smell could be coming from.

Maybe, but I doubt it. I can't recall ever smelling fuel in the exhaust when my cars are warming up, certainly not strongly.

Unburned fuel in the exhaust stream is not good.

OP: have a CEL by chance?

I thought I remember readding in some FITV or IACV thread that the ecu tells the motor to inject more fuel when you first start the car and warm up for something... may be wrong. my car will get you high as f^ck if its cold outside and you stand around. when Its warm nothing.
