1991 Acura Legend Blown Fuse???

My friends legend's 70A fuse is blowing. It is the one for the battery. We just got him a new battery because his old one is dead. We hooked it up but the fuse blew. We replaced it and it blew again. Any tips on solving the problem? Thanks guys.

Do you have the polarity correct (ie: red to the positve terminal)?
