Im putting a deposit on a 09 Pearl white/black as soon as insurance pays me and i part this one out

Long story short i made a right turn. Lady cut in front of me. wasnt paying attention that she cut behind a stopped person, locked up her brakes and i stopped as quickly as possible but not enough. I had full sun in my eyes and just layed it down under her hyundai suv.

Other than that im alive. Ive been stuck at home the whole week

It was a 2lane road and the fast lane also acts as the left turn lane across oncoming traffic.

I was paying attention. If i wasnt i would have been side swipped.

 

damn man glad ur okay had an incident relative to this, thank God i had enuff space to look and swerve.... i swear some ppl mash on brakes a bit to hard for no reason

 

yes people do. If they wern't on the phone they would have realized that the lane they changed had a row of like 3 people stopped for a person making a left turn. None the less im ok.

 

is that a cell phone holder on your bike?

yeah it was for my old phone. Whenever i took long trips i could see someone calling so i could pull over in a parking lot.

Doesn't look like you have alot to part out. Glad you mad it out good.

 

Well i was in an ambulance at the time. My friend that was with me described it as they got the bike up straight and leveled the bed out. Then the tow truck driver realized he didnt have tow straps and the Police were pissed that they were going to have to keep the street closed off. So the driver proceded to drop it on its side and chain it like that.

BTW the company is D&L Towing in Saint louis MO.

There is still a lot. Just nothing body wise. Thanks im glad i made it out too

 

i have seen tow drivers around here tow bikes just like that.. dragging them up onto the bed on the fairing..

 

yea they figure the bikes totaled already might as well just lay it on its side.

 

Update: Today i got the repair estamate of $9,962.82.. Totalled out, obviously.
