X3Racing (xtune) plug and play HID kit issues!
I recently bought an HID plug n' play kit off ebay, and I can't seem to get it to work. The kit I bought is sold by X3racing, and is "made" by a company called Xtune.
With the Bi-xenon kit I bought, there was a relay built into the wiring harness, and everytime I flick my lights on, I can hear the relay make a "click" sound, but nothing more then that happens. I used a multi meter and there is indeed power going to the Ballasts, but neither of the two ballasts make any sound, and no light is produced either.
Is it because both ballasts are shot, or could something else be the problem? I've gone over the wiring about a dozen times, and everything looks the way it should.
The reason I bought the Bi-xenon kit was because the previous HID kit I had blew out one of the ballasts after about 18 months use. BUT, to test the one working ballast, I simply hard wired it to my battery, and you could infact hear it power up, and the bulb worked fine. I screwed around with my new kit for a bit, and eventually went back to wiring up the old ballast again to the battery, and nothing. WTF?!

try flipping the power plugs to the ballasts around and see if they light up. Try powering the ballast directly off the battery... if it's a H4 kit try and check the polarity if the male plug, I got a kit where the high beam and ground were swapped with eachother...
