I have an 06 Si. I have been having a weird problem that has started happening once or twice a month. When I turn the key to start the car, it makes a weird sound and just dies out. It sounds like the flywheel is spinning and then just gradually slows down after a second or two. The starter does not keep clicking though. Everytime this happens, I turn the key again and it starts fine.
Has anyone had a problem like this on their Si? I am taking it in for a new steering rack in a few weeks so I will have it looked at then, but I figured I would do some research first.

Same thing has happend to my 08 si a couple of times and I have no idea what the hell it is!!
