shitttt...help plz
well thank god i hadnt ordered the $2,000 worth of parts cause i noticed smoke coming from under my hood tonight and was unable to locate the source of it though. I can tell you that it was "sweet" smelling smoke, if that makes any sense. Well, sweeter than what what most auto-smokes usually smell like. I dont think any smoke was coming out of the exhaust, but it was dark and for some god forsaked reason we dont have a flash light here...
any idea on what this might be? (please not the head, please not the head) *crosses fingers*.

We don't know, could be many things. Wait until the morning to find out. So what if it's the head or the headgasket ... this gives you a reason to disassemble everything and build for Boost like you wanted. you're panicking too much, wait it out 'till tommorow morning.
Well, under further inspection it looks like it is leaking coolant. The reservoir was almost completely empty. It's odd cause i wasnt having a problem with it till a few days ago. Two weeks ago i replaced the hoses and topped off all the fluids. So i guess somewhere between then and now a quick leak sprung up. And as far as still going on with the plan to rebuild for turbo...i don't know, **** the block has 180k miles on it. But yeah i've calmed down a bit. Was praying it wasnt the head cause i replaced that damn thing already about 20k miles ago
but yeah, ty for quick responses you guys, i feel slightly better about it.

sweet smell is coolant probably. My guess is headgasket's shot. Drain oil into a pan and look for the milky milk man's left overs. He likes to come in and *** our motors but he always leaves his little soldiers which give him away lol

Yeah it was just weird the way you worded it lol. But anyways, found that the coolant reservoir was leaking, which eventually lead to no coolant, which led to overheating which i guess led to my head gasket blowing. Milkshake oil, smokey exhaust confirmed. Son of a bee.... Perhaps H22 swap in time? yeah...i think so
Options for that are- $900 for JDM h22 w/o tranny or ecu or wiring harness but with 51,000 miles.
-300 for USDM h22 with thrown rod that i could just sleeve and pistonize and rodicize
