Default Sensitivity and temperature?

When my car is parked outdoor during the hot days, some falsing occurs.
But when it is parked indoor, it is absolutely fine.
It never false during the winter, indoor or outdoor.
So my question: Is the sensor too sensitive? Does temperature have any effect on the sensor?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answer!
Can you please explain why?
Is it the hot temperature make the contacts in the shock sensor expands and therefore more sensitive than what it should be?
