Which foot do you use?
Thread title may be misleading, but whatever.
Anyway, let's say you're in 3rd and are going to stop. Normally I would just press the clutch in while braking, stop, and put my right foot on the ground and with my left put it back into first.
I was talking to a friend of mine and he told me he uses his left foot on the ground when he's at a complete stop. Mind you, we both can't flat foot so we can only use one.
So which do you use?

And try to get in the habit of downshifting all the way to first when you come to a stop

So brake with front and rear to get speed down, let off front, down shift (still rear braking), into first (possible still braking, holding in clutch), stop (holding in clutch in first), put left foot down. Check behind me until a car comes up behind me. Then possible go into neutral.

^^
Ya, normally I would position myself to either be more on the left or right side of the car in front of me, ie not the middle of the lane when stopped for 2 reasons.
1. There is grease and crap in the middle of the road.
2. I have an out, to go between the lanes......if some douche coming from behind doesn't look like he is gonna stop in time.

Always keep the bike in gear when at a stop, you never know when you might have to take off quick
it really depends on the situation. i can use all three options
what i normally do when im feeling lazy or am at a long light is put my left foot down and keep my right foot on the rear brake so i can sit upright and be as comfortable as possible.

I will use front brake while downshifting to first. Once I am almost stopped I will put pressure on the rear and let off with the front brake. I simply keep the clutch pulled in and put my left foot down. I use the rear brake to keep the bike from rolling, keep an eye on my mirror to look behind me, and just rest my right hand on my hip.
ew don't use two feet you squid
if its a hill i hold my bike still with my right on the rear brake, or the left or right depending on the mood, never both =p
stay in the person infront of you's mirror (i like the left rear of their car so they see you and you can blast off)

Right because I want my left available to shift into gear before taking off. But most of the time I track stand.

Coming to a downhill or level road to stop I'll downshift to the stop (lightly engine breaking) and shift into neutral (usually while still in motion) and put my right foot down so I can shift into 1st on green.
If I'm coming to a stop uphill however I will shift into first and hold the clutch in with my right foot on the rear brake and my left foot on the ground.
Or a long light = neutral + both feet.

I generally come down with the left first, drop the right when I pop it into neutral, then pop the left back down and cover the rear at all times. My hand cramps up if I hold the clutch too long. Seems like using the rear brake has almost become like using the front back in the "60s. You'll die for sure if you use it.
