Default obd1 Vtec/nonvtec distributor question

I have 88 civic converted to obd1 with b18 in right now. I am running obd1 LS distributor. I want to swap out the b18 and drop in a b16. Question is do I need a Vtec obd1 distributor with the b16 or can I use the b18 dizzy on it.

you do not need to repin anything there both obd1 and yes the ls dizzy will fit the b16 or gsr if you cut off on of the mounting tabs
