that might help...idk about the 96-00 sedan side skirts but there might be something in there about it. if you get it done post up some pics.

 

Sedan sideskirts are the same length. They just are different along the top edge that rests against the bottom of teh car. There is more material on the top of the sedan ones because if you put coupe/hatch skirts on a 6th gen sedan you'd be able to see a big gap at the bottom of the door when you open the rear doors.
