I have a 1994 GSR short block with type r pistons and new type r oil and water pump for sale $499.00 plus shipping ( I was going to put it on ebay -the oil pump and water pump alone are over $200) I used it for 6 months until I realized that my stupid mechanic over tightened and striped two of the head bolt treads on the block so now it is up for sale. I have all of the paper work including the invoice for the type r pistons , vtec water and oil pump.

The two striped bolt treads can be easily fixed by any machine shop or using the following method.

Dude are you retarded? You want to buy a blown GSR motor, that usually involves punching a rod through the block. This block actually works, all you have to do is repair it...whatever though.....

calm down newbie.

a blown motor is a VERY broad statment.
a rod through the block is the most extreme.

I'm a newbie too, but he has a point. I am not at all new to motor work, and stripped threads does not constitute "blown". Scored cylinders, seized rings, that's blown. What I'm saying is that is one hell of a deal.
