Default Improving on a less-than-ideal ROD RATIO?

Determined to build my F23 into a winner, I'm wondering how much I can improve my R/S ratio with the use of longer rods without sending compression height through the roof. Just a little background first.....I will run no more than 12:1 compression for my build, I would like to make power to 7K, and all intake head and cam requirements will be addressed as well. If I can keep the piston compression height down (custom forged dish or slightly relocated pin) and use the longer rods to increase the overall compression height, I should be able to improve the R/S ratio from 1.453 to 1.519 by using .25" longer rods. Here's where my lack of experience is getting in my way. How much will my 9.3:1 compression be raised from an increase of .25" compression height? I would appreciate any help/info you guys can offer, but please spare me any h22 swap suggestions.
