I have a Jdm B16 fullybuilt. Skunk2 Valvetrain, Crower stage 2 turbo cams, Aem camgears, PNP head. Well i recently disassembled the whole motor and replaced every seal and bearing with oem Honda parts. At the inital startup i noticed a knocking coming from the head so i replaced the LMAs with Oem 2000 b16 ones and after starting again its still knocking. My question is what else could it be or did i use the wrong ones or are the cams just to agressive?

you're using a pretty beefy head.. of course it's going to make some noise

make sure it's a bottom end knock before anything else though.

 

A little noise is normal w/ upgraded cams and valvetrain.

How many miles are on the head?

 

maybe clearance on the springs

 

going to put stock b16 cams in tomm see if that fixs the promblem
