Default Floor Mat Questions

Winter is approaching and i need to buy all season rubber floor mats. I only want to buy a honda or acura genuine oem mat. They don't make all season mats for my 00 civic ex coupe. I am curious if anyone is running any all season mats from another year civic or other vehicle that fit really well. I was thinking of the following vehicles: civic Coupe 01 and up whatever fits the best. Acura Rsx. Let me know your experiences in your 96-00 civic coupe with all season rubber floor mats.

The best ones that I've found so far are the ones you can purchase from WeatherTech. You'd be hard pressed to find a set of OEM rubber floor mats, especially since the only way you could get them is when you ordered them from the dealership. Usually aftermarket accessory catalogs only carry accessories for 2 years after the vehicle's model year, e.g. 2002 would be the last year a dealership would carry parts for a 2000 Civic. You'd have to try and find set from someone that bought them back then.

*facepalm*

If it's an OEM mat it means Honda made it. Obviously if it's an OEM mat it means it's going to fit perfectly because the ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER made it specifically for that vehicle. Like I said, you won't find the OEM mats unless someone has a set that they're selling. No aftermarket company sells the OEM mats because they are not an aftermarket part.

I think what you're asking is which aftermarket ones fit the best. Like I said, I've only seen one company yet that sells them for the EK and that's WeatherTech.
