I have a question what exactly is a rice car?

What does meh mean?

and why does everybody hate body kits so much? Is it just this body kit you don't like or what? I like having something that looks different than everyone else, i just like the look of a customized look.
If you ask me the stock Prelude is just kinda Blah looking.

 

when people say rice means like all show no go, has fancy kits and a wing. To me its pretty much people hating on another person style. I mean i dont like kits but that dont mean everyone should hate them. Do what you like its your car

 

Rice is a subjective term, but it is derogatory.
Meh is kinda like bleh or something like that. It is more polite term (atleast to me) indicating dislike or ambivalence.

Basically, with a car like that, many people are going to say that it looks tacky.
The paint looks really nice though so I say if you like the look, just make it fast so it can live up to its flashy exterior. Do what you want, but if you go out on a limb style-wise you are going to get a lot of negative comments from the conservative crowd.

I wouldn't rock that car but I won't disrespect you for digging it. Good luck with your prelude.

 

Oh thanks for the input guys. So rice pretty much means all show and no go. That's fine with me my other ride is a GT Mustang i pretty much want to make this car my daily driver that will be god on gas. But a little power wont hurt I just need to find a decent engine and some tight wheels and ill be cool. So any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

If you can spend a little money, Hmotorsonline.com is reputable and can send you a complete H22 with all the extras you might need to install it. You can get decent mileage with that motor and it is the easiest way to get some power. If you are on a budget, then get a clean H23.
