My GC sleeves have a black polyurethane ring inside of that inner lip.
I have no clue what that red ring is. Mine didn't come with any.

I see that your coil is small, so I am assuming it is for the rear shocks. That ring you got is to "hold" the helper spring (keeps the coil snug and in position when you jack the car up). I have just two. This is my rear shock set-up:

Front:

On your konis, you are suppose to have metals clips. So, you just slide over your sleeves over the shocks. The clips holds the sleeve in place.

this is not a standard kit for any honda. can you please tell us where you got this kit? how was it described?
the ring you showed is for the secondary help/tender spring. do you have those?
it looks like the threaded sleeve was made for koni yellow shocks only. however its really short, and so is the spring.

I bought them used, the person I bought them from told me that they came off his car... which had stock shocks. and the car was a 95 integra
And I don't have the help/tender spring. do I need that?

Whats the spring part numbers that are on your coils? From what it looks like, you have nothing even close to what you need for your car, better luck selling them and buying an application that fits your car.
you really dont need the tender spring. theyre actually pretty expensive and its a lot of thought and trial and error to get the right dual spring rate. so i recommend just buying a pair of longer 7-8" springs of your spring rate choice.

you got the wrong kit for a del sol.
they COULD have fit on an integra, but not really. and not without the tender spring on the short 5" one.
either way, youll be better off with the right kit. thos sleeves are too short too.
