Default Aftermarket Type S RSX Headers fit on Base RSX ? NEED HELP!

Ok, I have a 2003 ACURA RSX Base, someone on craigslist is offering me a sweet deal for DC Headers for 02-04 Type S motors. I searched and figured they may not fit my car, however, he is insisting they will and he gave me a few #'s to local shops stating that the DC Headers for Type S will fit the Base as long as they are not the "Race Headers". Any input would be great, thank you.

if its a race header you just have to buy a type s exhaust or aftermarket equivelant. if its a shorty then u shouldnt waste your money, there is a reason its on sale, its not worth a damn.

I second that. Complete waste of money and time getting the shorty header.

Not if you want to actually be legal and run a cat. converter.

With a race header also comes motor mounts to keep it from banging off things.

Thank you all. I didn't buy them, I instead took the Skunk2 springs the seller had for cheap
