Default Aftermarket Steering Wheel Help...Pointers.

Ok....recently the shop that switched my b18c into my Ej8 also swapped over the Aftermarket (quick release NRg Etc)steering wheel. But i havo no horn working and was wondering if there is any way to make it work. Also is there anyway to get rid of the SRS light besides removing the BULB...LoL

All this on a 97 Civic EJ8

If I remember correctly, you can only get the SRS light erased at the Honda Dealership. And the horn is just wiring, Honda should be able to do that for you as well.

this is for 92-95 civics, and i don't know if the wires are the same, but here it is anyways.

as for the srs, there is a write-up around here but that also is for 92-95's only.

the srs light will always be on as long as there is a problem with the system much like a check engine light.. the airbag is gone so it wont just go away unless removed or if the entire srs assembly was removed

Wiring for ek is the same, basically.
There is a connector for cruise and horn - figure out which is which and wire it up using the thread given.

For the SRS:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1760922
Easy.
The SRS reset connector looks just like the one for CEL, but is connected to a blank at the upper right of the dash fuse box. You connect a 2pin jumper and follow the instructions on the thread I gave you. This will only reset if you connect a resistor.....also explained in the thread given.
