Default my tranny has some weird issues when shifting up or down past 4k rpm

if i try driving past 4k rpm wether shifting up or down my tranny would get stuck or it would sink into the gear like it was quicksand rather then a solid shift

ex) today happened 10 mins ago going up hill at 4k rpm shifted to 5th and it went in like it was going thru stiff sand and mud or some ****... i couldn't tell the gear was in... it was like it was stuck in sand

also down shifted to stop at a redlight down hill to 4th it got stuck between 4th and Neutral uh like the passing point or something like that... wow help please

its a gsr tranny

and occasionally i would hit somthing over speed bumps or dips (dont know if its either the tranny or the shifter or w/e etc im hitting... maybe that was a big factor in why this is happening)

uuhhh...yea.

You might want to start off by looking under your car. Could be that you were slaming your exhaust into your shift linkage.
