I rarely post here but thought I'd share my latest handy work, there's a full thread on s2ki about this car but just wanted to share some of the pictures I took after the facelifted look.

If you're wondering how it's done, the R8 LED look is done with 12 volt LED strips that can be bought in almost any color you want. ((I highly advise sticking w/ white as other colors will attract the cops FAST)

The lights can be wired using a 12 volt relay to parking lights if you want the easy way out or in my case I added an independent harness for the lights. This allows me to keep the lights on or off at car shows, etc. Another option is to wire them to blink with your turn signals but I opted not to do that.

If you are going to do this to the headlights it will require baking open the headlights and while you're there, this is a great time to do other mods such as swapping out bulbs and getting rid of those unsightly amber reflectors.

Just be careful not to bake them too long or they WILL MELT! If you want this done and feel this is too much for you, we can do the work for you with a 1 day turn-around time for most work. Just drop me an email!

same here. I especially thought I would not like it w/out the big rear wing. but it looks just fine!

where are the center caps? Put a stock H wheel cap in there at least...just my .02, looks cleaner and less ragged on that way IMO. Sweet ride overall

 

I don't think center caps for this particular vehicle are on a priority list.

Have you found out which wheels you're going to slap on there Rick?

why not? its aesthetic which this car has plenty of (and aesthetics is what this thread is clearly about with the different camera angles and the lights)

If the thread was about the performance of the car then I would have not mentioned the caps. And I am not going to *** over the supercharger and the car's performance if thats what you want me to do..

You totally missed my point
Take a good look at his list of cars.... I'm sure you can tell his S2000 is not on any sort of priority list... That's alll i was saying. I honestly could care less if you get a hard on to a s/c setup in an S2k, mine is turbo, get off on that son.

Again, good job Rick, i may have to come see you to inquire about doing some LED setups in my cabin.
