1996 Accord v6 - EX water pump
So the wife went out in the car last night. She calls me telling me the car is overheating sitting in traffic.
I have a 96 honda accord v6 ex.
By the time she got home it was too late to work on it.
Since I have a v6.
I was looking at majestic honda to see about the water pump.
Is this the same as the 4 cyl where I have to do a timing belt change as well or is it like the picture shows that the water pump is on the back of the engine.
Thanks.

If you are changing the T-belt anyway, sure go ahead and do the water pump;[good time to change T-stat]
However, you should find out the reason for the overheating.
Such as be sure the cooling fans cycle and the T-stat is opening.
The one-eyed mechanic says "the car is low on coolant"
The two-eyed TECHNICIAN says "Why is the car low on coolant?"
