Default tie rods

both of the my tie rod boots are ripped and open..it seems grease came out of them. my question is can this affect the alignment of my car? i have seen the kit to replace the boot...but is that worth it or might as well change the whole rod?

a worn balljoint can only minorly affect the toe.

but it is a good time to replace it once you see its been ripped for a while and and dirt got in.

and once you replace the tie rod, then you HAVE to get an alignment. well, you can get by if you just do ONE side, and then adjust the toe until it drives straight or like it did before. but thats still just a rogh estimate, best to get a good alignment.
