Default aftermarket radio help

- i heard that you can buy the Civic Nav dash to use for an aftermarket double din.. is that right or do i have to order that Scosche one from bestbuy?

- would i need anything besides the dash? does it bring everything i need for it? or do i need brackets or what?

- where can i get the adapters? maybe ill just look over here in local shops...

i want to get the Pioneer 4000 dvd thing.. getting with a hook up at bestbu(hopefully).. so about $400 or less..

- AND! haha... anyone got directions on taking off panels? all the directions i can get the better... cuz some dont have all the screws and clips.. i had one but not anymore =/ .. sigh..

the scosch dash kit is very nice, i atually work for a best buy and its a grest kit especially for a pioneer with no sleeve. U can iso mount the screen using the its bracketand the outcome is great. U will need an antenna adapter(12.99) and a new honda harness(21.99). The dash kit i believe is about $65. To get the radio out al u have to do is pull the driver under dash panel out- remove one screw to remove the trim around the cluster and just pulls off, u might have to move the steering wheel around to get the trim out- next in the compartment in front of the shifter u have to pop a panel off above the compartment, there u will have to remove two 8mm( which were a painin the a$$)- now u are ready to remove the stock radio. good luck!

The scosche kit is really nice, I installed a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in it and it looks fabulous. Yea you will also need a wiring harness and an antenna adapter. My shop carries these parts regularly, and you should be able to go to a Best Buy or just order it off of http://www.crutchfield.com

good luck
