Default Oil pump replacement questions

im replacing the engine in my 96 accord (170k miles) with a jdm obd1 f22b (50k miles). the crank positioning sensor on the old obd2 engine is on the oil pump, the ckp sensor on the new obd1 engine is inside the distributor. i swapped the distributor over from the old engine to the new engine so now my issue is the oil pump. i will be swapping pumps so now i have several questions.

-do i need any special tools to remove the balance shaft sprockets?
-do you think i should buy a new pump or swap out the pumps?
-any advice for removing or installing the oil pump?
