Default Lights don't flash when I arm/disarm my alarm???

It worked fine before, just stopped all of a sudden. Any ideas? Is there a relay for the parking lights that's part of the alarm? I have an Autopage RS860LCD.

Note: My city lights and fog lights are hooked up to the parking lights.

sounds like you blew the parking light output fuse on the alarm. One reason is the alarm was not desiged to flash the fog lights if you have them wired wrong. Check the 15 amp fuse on the alarm harness and see if that is blown

I've had this problem for quite some time now and just kinda dealt with it, but I wouldn't mind having it work again. IIRC, I checked the fuse on the alarm harness back when and it was ok, but I'll do that again when I get a chance.

(I did upgrade the fuse for the parking lights, fogs on the car however.)

You should never replace, [upgrade] fuses with bigger ones, you could burn your car to the ground.

I agree with wrx-killer-Sti-eaterprobably a blown fuse on the alarms park light circuit, red/white lead in H2 5pin harness 15A fuse.
I also agree that the park lights and fog lights may be too much of a load for the circuit, probably 15A for fog lights themselves, unless you just trigger the fog light relay. 94

My car hasn't burnt down for over a year, let's hope it stays that way. Anyway, can you explain what you just said in noob terms?

What part?
That replacing fuses with bigger ones then called for is taking a big risk, or connecting a bigger load to a circuit then it is designed for can and will damage the circuit? 94

What do you mean by trigger the fog light relay?

Your system has a "light flash input", [red/white lead] it has a 15A in-line fuse, so no more then 15A can be draw on the two light flash output lines, [combined] if you are lucky the 15A fuse is blown and not the light flash circuit in the alarm brain.

Very little current is needed to "trigger" a relay, [250mA or 1/4 of an amp] so if you want to flash the park lights and the fog lights, use the light flash out put to trigger the fog light relay, the fog light switch on your dash controls the fog light relay, the relay is what controls the fog lights, so connect the light flash output from the alarm to the fog light switch output.
My question would be, why flash the fog lights at all? 94

Well, I hope I'm lucky then.

I don't need the fogs to flash, its just that I have them wired to come on with my parking lights, so when I turn on the parking lights I can also turn on my fogs. I can still turn off the fogs separately so they don't come on w/ the pl but usually I just keep the button on.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to check the light flash fuse this weekend. And I hope its blown and not the circuit.

Thanks for your help though. I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time and then just gave up. This really explains everything for me.
