stolen bike question...
So my bike got stolen 3 weeks ago.. Ive gotten a police report and told my insurance about it.
So far my insurance, which is state farm, has sent me a form to fill out the same week my bike was taken. And ever since then I havent gotten any updates from the police or my insurance.
Should I call the police department and or my insurance agent and ask for any updates? Or just wait it out?

The police are not going to give you any updates... that's not there job. if they find it they may tell you about it, but that's about it.
Your IC on the other hand, should cut you a check within a week or two... UNLESS you owe money on the bike still

If you even want to get updates from the police you have to call them. Even then its not really their priority to find it. Likely your bike is in pieces. Hassle your insurance company, you'll get better results.

ok them the police wont do anything for you, call your I C and find out whats the status on your claim but most likely is going to take a few months for them to paid your bike off, the I C has to wait to see is the bike turn up which i really dought is going to. but that's pretty much whats going to happen......

lol "dought" ...nice one. anyways..the cops are useless in this situation. Get your check from your IC asap and keep your eyes on ebay and craigslist for recognizable parts of your bike...that's about all you can do.
