Rear Lights dimmed significantly over the years... How to make them bright again
I'm sure everyone's seen their share of hella dim rear lights on 90% of all pre 95 Hondas. Some (like mine) have only one side that's gone bad. This is probably due to deterioration of the reflective coating inside the bulb housing. My question is: Has anyone ever attempted to bake their rear housings, open them, and respray with Mirror finish/Chrome paint? I'm temped to do this, but I've also read about ppl breaking their light covers since they were so thin compared to the headlight housings.

Did you try replacing the bulbs? They dim over time.
A chrome spray would just make it worse. The only way to have it re-chromed to OEM spec or better would be to send it to a company to have it redone. The cost would probably make it worth it to just get ones from a newer Integra. There is a thread on HIDplanet where people tested chrome sprays in retrofits, and found nothing that was as shiny as the OEM. One guy sent it out, and it looked perfect.

Bulbs are fine. Thanks for responding, but not what I was looking for. And I have an extra set... I just want to find out more about fixing/moding the deteriorated housing reflector.
No problem...I found the thread I was talking about and it has the place you can send them off to if you decide to. Also has some testimonials on the spray chrome stuff:
