h23 transmission
h23a1 trans (M2S4) will work with the h22 motor. Mounts, and bolts are identical.
You'll fall to about 45-4600 RPMs when u shift at 7400rpms (from 1st to 2nd) every gear switch after that you stay above 5k
Every gear AFTER 1st is slightly longer in the h23 trans.
BUT YES....it'll work. But the h22 trans on the SAME setup will accelerate slightly quicker

Wow thats a pretty big drop in rpm. Was mainly just wondering cause i found a JDM h22 with 50k miles for about 900 including shipping. But decided to just make a torque monster h23. Hoping it will be fun. ty for the info everyone, cheers
Use the h23 tranny, and instead of wasting the money into buying a gay M2B4 tranny, put that money into the M2Y4 tranny. Like adding the quafi(cant remember the real name right now, mind fart), that powers both wheels. I have the h23 tranny on the h22 and its fine, the gear ratios are only slightly diffrent, and I highly doubt its worth the 700 bucks to swap trannies as well.
