How much do you think this car is worth? S2000 with Damage
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3185137 FOR PICS
I bought this car from my brother, who had the car for the past 3 years. He bought it from the OE who was a Doctor. Car was / is maintained perfectly. Mechanically needs nothing, all up to date. All stock 98k miles.
GPW exterior that is very very nice. No accidents until now. Interior is Black with red seats, floor, door inserts. All stock except speakers. Pics will come tomoorro. Looking for your best offer. I may keep this car and fix it myself. But i would rather get a new one. Looking to hear what you think its worth.
Needs:
Front bumper has large crack from top to bottom could maybe be stiched?
Right Side Fender and Headlight
Right Door has large dent, maybe fixable. Rear Pass. side Quarter has small 3 inch dent where deer last touched.
Hood probably has some slight damage, cant tell because fender is pushed over on top of it.
Softtop is perfect with perfect rear window. Car was literally flawless until today when Deer came out in front of me at 50 on the highway, I swerved and caught the head/torso section.

No. In fact it was a very light hit considering how much was damaged. My dog was sleeping inthe passenger side, and he didnt even wake up..
Well according to KBB, Excellent condition 00 with 98k on the clock is worth $9,600. Being that the car is mint.
Door skin - $175
Fender - $250
Front Bumper - $230
Headlight - $390 (w/o bb)
Hood - $325
Those are the parts new from Honda Automotive Parts which gives you a ridiculous discount on OEM parts. Total about $1370 in parts alone pre - shipped + Labor + Paint ++ at a good body shop that knows how to color match GPW.
I say your looking at about 3 grandish in damage, more on the plus side towards 4. Don't be suprised if its in the 4 range. Thats if theres nothing else thats wrong that you can't see.
So roughly 6ish give or take.

To be honest with you. If the car is as clean as you say it is, you are so much better off sourcing used parts from place to place to save some money instead of buying new parts and fixing the car.
You can probably find a AP2 bumper and find a reputable shop to install everything and paint the car for under $1500. Don't rig the bumper with staples and bondo, in time the bumper will start to fall apart. Especially if you get bumper parkers.
Find a shop that doesn't have a sudden love for 50lbs of bondo. Make sure its a good shop that pulls the panel out and then smooths it instead of filling it in. If the door has to be replaced, you can just get the skin. Hell you can probably find full doors on partout threads and replace it.

My options are :
Get insurance check, source parts, and fix myself and keep excess cash.
Or
Ger insurance check, sell car, pay off loan, and other bills with insurance money.
If i keep the car Im firmilar with sourcing parts, and getting **** fixed, im more interested in how much I could get for the s2k.. thanks tho

i'd disagree. how many s2k's do you see for 9600 in mint condition? and not to mention the car's white which is a rarer color. (not many for sale at reasonable price)

You might be hard pressed to sell this for a large amount in as-is condition for a decent amt. You will probably make more if you part it all out, or fix it and sell it. I'll give you 4k right now
as is i would give you $5k tops... i say keep it and find the used parts for $1-$1.5k and paint for another $1-1.5k.
good luck man!!!
if not i'll buy the seat

Actual Parts Damage is 2600 from INSURANCE from OEM Honda.
No structural damage at all. Door Skin will be needed for door. Rear QP needs 4.5 hours of work. new hood, bumper and headlight needed.
I need 7,900 cash from buyer with insurance to sell it.
Let me know!
